Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information Hadi Quran Academy collects when you use hadiquranacademy.com, book trial classes or get in touch, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Hadi Quran Academy ("we", "us") is an online Quran academy offering live one-to-one Quran classes for children and adults. This policy covers our website, hadiquranacademy.com, and the enquiries and classes arranged through it.

Information we collect

When you book trial classes or contact us

When you fill in our trial class form, we collect:

  • your full name
  • your email address
  • your phone or WhatsApp number, including the country code
  • your country
  • the course you are interested in
  • anything you choose to add in the optional note, such as preferred class times or the student's age

If you message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us, we receive the details you share in that conversation, such as your name, phone number and message.

When you attend classes

To arrange and run classes, we keep the student's name, the course and level, class schedules and the teacher's progress notes. If a parent or guardian enrols a child, we also keep the parent or guardian's contact details.

When you browse the website

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

Our fonts and images are served from our own website, so viewing a page does not send your information to font or image providers.

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  • reply to your enquiry and arrange your three free trial classes
  • match you with a suitable teacher and schedule classes in your time zone
  • teach classes and share progress with students and parents
  • manage your monthly plan and fees
  • keep our website and services secure

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will only send you news or offers if you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Services that process your information for us

We use a small number of trusted services to run the academy:

  • Email delivery (Resend): the details you submit in our trial form are sent to our team by email through Resend.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, or send your enquiry through WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • Video calls (such as Zoom or Skype): live classes take place on a video platform, which processes the call under its own privacy policy.
  • Website hosting: our hosting provider stores and serves the website and keeps the server logs described above.

These providers only process your information to provide their service to us. Some of them may process information outside your country, including in the United States.

Children's privacy

Many of our students are children. We only enrol a child with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and we ask parents or guardians, not children, to complete our trial form. Children's classes are private one-to-one sessions, and parents can request a male or female teacher.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information without a parent or guardian's knowledge, please contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and arrange classes. If you do not become a student, we delete them within 12 months. For students, we keep class and contact records while classes continue and for a reasonable period afterwards, for example to answer questions about fees or progress, and then delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the UK, the European Union, Canada and some US states, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your information
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it

To make a request, email admin@hadiquranacademy.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Keeping your information safe

We limit access to your information to the staff and teachers who need it to arrange and run your classes, and we use reputable providers that protect data in transit and at rest. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will let you know if a breach affects you.

Our website links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we will make that clear on this page.
